4. Making an offer.
Feel free to discuss your personal requirements with our Site Sales Advisor. We will do everything we can to assist you at this stage, whether it be advising or recommending a solicitor, working out costs of moving and removals and, of course, how to check the progression of any related sale you might have.
5. Acceptance of your Offer.
Often at this time, dependent upon the stage or progress of your new home, you will have the opportunity of choosing your kitchen, ceramic tiles or any upgrades you feel you might like. Please feel free to ask our Sales Advisor when might be an appropriate time to discuss in detail your requirements. It is at this time we will require a reservation deposit from you. This will be deducted from the price of house or apartment upon completion. Terms and conditions of this fee will be explained by our Sales Advisor in further detail at this time.
6. Instructing your Mortgage Company & Surveyor.
If you require a mortgage, now is the time to contact your lender or financial advisor again to complete your mortgage application. Our Sales Advisor will provide you with all of the details you need by having completed your reservation form with you. If you do not require a mortgage you may still wish to appoint a Surveyor to inspect your new home.
Crayfern Homes do however offer further peace of mind by offering a NHBC or Zurich House Builders Warranty Certificate.
7. Instructing Your Solicitor.
Conveyancing is then undertaken by your Solicitor during the next 28 days before an exchange of Contracts takes place where you will be required to pay your exchange deposit.
8. Completion.
Crayfern Homes will provide you and your solicitor with notice of the completion date. On the day you move in, we will provide you with a Crayfern Homes ‘Homefile’ which will contain all of the guarantees relating to your appliances, instruction booklets of how to use them and useful tips on how to look after and maintain your new home.
